TdF #3 The German takes London

July 10, 2014

The Germans have lots to celebrate at the moment, and Kittel is certainly doing his part. His team were perfect in a classic flat spring stage and Kittel made the win look easy. Sagan might have been second but he did not even appear outside Kittel’s mass and was just collecting green jersey points. Sagan already has a handy lead in that competition.

Other than his superb sprint victory was there anything worth noting? Andy Schleck crashed. Rolland, Intxausti and Frank Schleck lost time (unless revised by the race referees due to crashes in the last 3km).

We will need to wait for hillier stages to find out more about our race favourites.
